A unique work from my series The Garden in Me

Each piece is made to order and is slightly different. The original drawing is printed on Hahnemühle Cotton Rag 308gsm using archival inks. I then work back into every print by hand, using graphite and white charcoal, and apply 24K Manetti Italian gold and platinum leaf, which I engrave individually.
Because of this process, no two pieces are ever the same.
Each work is signed, comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, and is carefully packaged to arrive safely.
Timeless was selected by curator Sergio Gomez for the Visionary Art Collective exhibition in Brooklyn, New York, Metamorphosis: The Art of Transformation.
Timeless was featured in the Scrawlrbox (July box), where Iskra Sale was Artist of the Month, and a print of the artwork was sent to all subscribe
The works are created in graphite and 24K gold — two very different materials that naturally hold both darkness and light. The way the gold catches the light changes throughout the day, reminding me of the constant movement and change that exists within us and everything around us. The Garden in Me reflects my thoughts on the cycles of life and the quiet presence of mortality. Through careful, detailed drawing, I am drawn to the small, often unnoticed elements that surround us.
